What are the eligibility requirements for Google for Nonprofits?
To be eligible for Google for Nonprofits, organizations must be nonprofit charitable organizations in good standing in their country and be verified as a nonprofit organization by Google for Nonprofits' validation partner Percent. View country-specific eligibility guidelines here.

I requested a Google for Nonprofits account, but I was told my organization wasn't eligible. Why not?
Google for Nonprofits is available to organizations that meet these eligibility guidelines. The information there can help you understand the criteria. Learn more about how to fix eligibility problems.

How long does this process usually take?
It generally takes about 3-5 business days. Google's partner Percent needs to verify your organization and that you're affiliated with it.
You'll get an email as soon as your organization has been verified. You can also sign in to Google for Nonprofits to check the status of your request.

I got an email saying my organization is eligible for Google for Nonprofits. How do I start using Google products?
Once your organization has been verified, you can activate the Google products that suit your organization’s needs. Go to the Help Center for more details about how to get Google Workspace for Nonprofits, Ad Grants, YouTube Nonprofit Program, and Google Maps Platform credits.

I am a nonprofit school, healthcare organization or government entity, am I eligible for Google for Nonprofits?
No. At this time, your organization is not eligible for Google for Nonprofits. If you are a school, child care center, academic institution, or university, check out Google for Education.

I am a U.S. 501(c)(3) organization with charity status through a group exemption provided by a parent organization. Am I eligible for Google for Nonprofits?
If your organization has charity status through a group exemption provided by a parent organization, you may still be eligible for Google for Nonprofits. You must be a separate branch covered through a group exemption and Google must be able to verify from public documents that your organization is covered by a qualified parent organization through a group exemption.
To get started, sign in to Google for Nonprofits and enter your parent organization's EIN number. If there are other branch organizations using the same EIN for Google for Nonprofits, you'll be asked to create a new application. When you do, make sure to click Start new application. Don't request ownership of any of a branch organization you don't recognize.
